Our Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or using Poipet App ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Poipet App is a property rental marketplace that connects tenants and landlords in Poipet, Cambodia. The App allows users to browse property listings, contact landlords, and (for landlords) list and manage properties.

2. Eligibility

By using the App, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
  • You are not located in a jurisdiction where use of the App is prohibited
  • All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Tenant Terms

As a tenant:

  • Browsing properties and contacting landlords is free
  • You agree to use property contact information only for legitimate rental inquiries
  • You may not submit false or misleading inquiries
  • You are responsible for verifying property details before entering any agreements

5. Landlord Terms

As a landlord:

  • You must register and be approved by our team before listing properties
  • A subscription fee of $30/month is required to list and manage properties
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time via your account settings.
  • All property information, including photos, must be accurate and not misleading
  • You must respond to tenant inquiries in a timely manner
  • We reserve the right to remove listings that violate our policies

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Post false, fraudulent, or misleading property listings
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to bypass subscription fees or manipulate our systems
  • Scrape, copy, or reproduce property data without permission
  • Interfere with the App's operation or security

7. Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor and review all content submitted to the App. We may remove or refuse to display any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable in our sole discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and software used in the App are the property of Poipet App or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

Poipet App acts as a marketplace platform only. We are not a party to any rental agreements between tenants and landlords. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of property listings
  • We are not liable for disputes between tenants and landlords
  • We are not responsible for any damages arising from your use of the App
  • Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding a claim

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your access to the App will cease, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Landlords with active subscriptions will receive a pro-rata refund for any unused portion of their subscription period.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
